  BETA members volunteered to assemble  

  bead bags for childhood cancer patients and

  followed up with a happy hour visit to Tucson

  Hop Shop.

Youth On Their Own - December 2018

  Nicole Hartman, Executive Director of YOTO,  

  gave a presentation at the Beta luncheon

  about the services they provide to support

  homeless teens and to help them finish high

  school. Beta members donated more than

  $1,000 and The Beta Group added $500

  for a total of more than $1,500 for YOTO.

Way to go, Beta members! .

Volunteering at Ben's Bells - March 2019

    We created ceramic ornaments for the

    Ben's Bells Shop and enjoyed lunch

    downtown afterwards.Thank you, Georgina,

    for coordinating this fun event!

  One of the cornerstones of The Beta Group is giving back to the community. Over the years, we have supported local organizations through our volunteer efforts, financial donations and matching donations to charities selected each year. Community organizations supported by The Beta Group over the years include: Beads of Courage; Ben's Bells; Community Food Bank; Habitat for Humanity; Old Pueblo Community Services; Ronald McDonald House;

Sister José Women's Center; Youth on Their Own;

Community Foundation of Southern Arizona; and many others.

Gospel Rescue Mission - Dec. 2022

   Jim Brown, Director of Development and

   Community Outreach for Gospel Rescue

   Mission, described how they work to provide

   the homeless in Tucson with food, services,

   shelter and educational opportunities. Beta

   members made donations of $600 and

   The Beta Group matched with $500 for a total

    of $1100 donated to GRM.

Old Pueblo Community Services

December 2019

   Tom Litwicki, CEO of OPCS, gave a compelling

   presentation on ways the organization works

   to provide the homeless in Tucson with social

   services and a place to live. Beta members

   donated more than $500 and The Beta Group

   matched with an additional $500.

Sister José Women's Center

December 2021

   Jean Fedigan, founder and CEO of SJWC,

   gave a compelling presentation on ways the

   organization works to provide homeless

   women in Tucson with food, services and a

   safe place to sleep. Beta members

   made donations of more than $845 and

   The Beta Group matched with $500 for a total

   of $1345.  Thank you, Beta members!
